It takes women decades to be diagnosed with endometriosis. In 2002, researchers thought pregnancy would diminish any new growth and that endometriosis found outside the uterus was extremely rare. In 2026, we know that these once highly regarded medical facts are nothing more than educated guesses. And still, they continue to guess.
